Donatello is pulled into a vivid dreamscape by the spirit of a deceased shaman, witnessing a colossal struggle between the noble Radical and the urban nightmare Complete Carnage. This psychic connection leads the Turtles to an abandoned "Indian Goods" store in the real world, where they find a weakened Radical. She reveals their origin: as children, she protected nature while a local boy—now Complete Carnage—embraced cruelty, leading both to be chosen as avatars for opposing spiritual forces. Because Carnage grows stronger from the "white man's" concrete and steel, Radical enlists the Turtles' help to lure him into a trap where the power of the natural world can be used against him.
Through a coordinated effort between the Dreamscape and the physical world, Donatello uses the legend of Coyote the Trickster to turn the tide. As Complete Carnage attempts to merge with the asphalt road to crush Radical, Donatello carves a sacred symbol into the earth that transmutes the stone into water. Unable to draw strength from the fluid element, Carnage’s atoms are dispersed into the stream, ending his reign of terror and allowing Donatello to finally hear the "spirit of the wind" that the Shaman had challenged him to find.
