In 1999, Gigelf Liqueur and the Magician's Guild attempted to open a portal to Nemesis, hoping to exchange Earth's polluted resources for Nemesis's clean ones. Ganossa Maximilian, Gigelf's former apprentice, sabotaged the plan, prematurely opening the gate for his own purposes. This triggered years of conflict between the Guild and the invading Nemesis inhabitants, dubbed Lucifer Hawk. By 2006, Gigelf was dead, and the Guild seemingly decimated. In 2023, feeling responsible for the ongoing Lucifer Hawk attacks, Rally Cheyenne—daughter of a Guild member and a Nemesis native—founded the Attacked Mystification Police (AMP). Initially a small team with officers Kiddy Phenil, Lebia Maverick, and Nami Yamigumo, and sub-commander Mana Isozaki, AMP later expanded to include Yuki Saiko, Katsumi Liqueur, and Lum Cheng, continuing the fight to protect Earth.
