With the homecoming dance fast approaching, MJ still doesn't have a date. But at the urging of her mutual friend Harry Osborn(Who also happens to be best friends with Liz's star-quarterback boyfriend, Flash Thompson). Though she has her doubts, when MJ sees what a sweet guy Harry really is- he's even nice to social outcast Peter Parker - she changes her mind... mostly.

It takes a chance encounter with Spider-Man on a deserted train for MJ to rethink her burgeoning relationship. It seems there's only one guy for her - and wouldn't it be nice to arrive at the dance swinging on Spider-Man's arm?
