While stalking the shadows of Gotham, Batman intervenes in a robbery at a local curio shop, rescuing a fortune teller from a common thug. Drawn by an uncharacteristic curiosity, the Dark Knight stays to consult the woman’s Tarot deck, drawing "The Fool". As they peer into her crystal ball, Batman is transported back three years to a pivotal confrontation at the Star Gallery, where the Joker attempted a daring heist amidst an exhibition of ancient cultures.
