Seeking a scapegoat for the PR disaster, Temple places the blame squarely on Decibel and officially designates Skyraker as the new leader of Heavy Mettle. However, the team has little time to adjust to the new hierarchy; an eerie atmospheric disturbance begins to form over the tarmac, forcing Temple to order the heroes back to the site of the original massacre to investigate the anomaly.
