In this story arc, the world mourns the loss of Superman, who was killed by Doomsday. The Justice League America takes a badly injured Blue Beetle to the hospital. Superheroes from all over gather, wearing armbands with Superman's "S" insignia to honor him, and Ice creates a beautiful ice sculpture of the Man of Steel.
