Superman extinguishes a chemical fire then investigates a theft at Corday Munitions, identifying the Joker's handiwork. At the Metropolis Toy Fair, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are disturbed by Anson Turley profiting from a "Joker" toyline, and reconnect with Jimmy Olsen. That evening, the Joker confronts Turley at his factory, demanding a share, while Lois secretly investigates. The next day, during the "Mile-o-Mirth" parade, Superman disarms bombs hidden by the Joker. When the Joker unleashes synthetic Powee Rangers, Jimmy Olsen punches him, leading to his arrest. Later, Jimmy gets a job offer from Cat Grant, and Lois receives a mysterious Joker action figure.
